Now, I know you two are having a well-deserved fabulous vacation, but today I enjoyed a very special afternoon, too. Gram and Pop Pop were kind enough to have me over for a play date with a certain extraordinary young lady. We discussed various and sundry topics including but not limited to: vegetables, birthdays, favorite colors, and Minnie Mouse’s unfortunate state of undress. All this was followed by a vigorous game with no name in which I was pinned to the floor without recourse to assistance. The best moment, however, came as a surprise when Emerson snuggled her head against me and declared, “You’re my sweetie!” Have fun, you two, and we’re eager to hear about your Abu Dhabi adventures.
