November, 2010 — Southern Caribbean Thanksgiving Family Cruise
We’re booked on a 9-day Southern Caribbean cruise on the NCL Dawn with Emerson (first major trip, ex utero) and Paul’s mother and grandfather (Libby’s parents opted to stay home). This should be an easy way to assess the viability of cruise travel with an infant without having to deal with airline flights too. From Florida, this is both relatively easy and inexpensive. Plus, we’ll pick up 5 more countries: Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands, Barbados, St. Kitts, and Anitigua.
February, 2011 — South America & Antarctica
We’re pretty motivated to add something more exotic to the mix. Antartica and South America it is!
Libby, Emerson and I are booked on the 14-night Celebrity Infinity sailing.
Summer, 2011 — Northern Europe
Nothing booked. But, Northern Europe is our plan — with or without Emerson TBD. Stay tuned for details…
Fall, 2011 — Caribbean Family Cruise?
St. Thomas / St. Martin are top contenders. We’re waiting all of the 2011-2012 itineraries to become available.
March, 2012 — Far East
We’re currently booked on a HAL cruise to Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Japan. However, this might change to a different location (Middle East) or itinerary (on Princess). More to come…
