I didn’t write anything yesterday for this sea day. Really, there wasn’t too much to report. We spent the day sailing north in 7-8ft seas for Puerto Madryn, which is in the northern reaches of Patagonia. In other news, I managed to catch Emerson’s cold… or at least spent the day battling it off.
Around 7am, we arrived at Isla Hornos, which is home to the famed Cabo de Hornos (Cape Horn). Today was another beautiful day in Ushuaia, though slightly cooler (in the 50s) and a good deal windier than the prior day. We awoke to blissfully smooth water and found ourselves cruising through the Beagle Channel toward Ushuaia. We docked around 9am.
